Default ITX Case Build With Corsair H60 Possible?

I'm ready to start my next build (S1155 i5-2500k based). It will be ITX based and due to my overclocking habit and just plain "tech-Giddyness" I'm aiming to use the Corsair H60 self contained watercooling unit to keep my cpu frosty.

Being ITX based and wanting to use this cooler I know that my options are limited so after much reading I've come up with the Lian-Li PC-Q11 & PC-Q08 mItx cases as potential candidates.

I would like to know if anyone can confirm that the Corsair H60 can be fitted in either case and if so.....How?

the SG05 could do this no problem, already done it with the H50/70....however p67/z68 mitx boards out yet? as with the lian-li cases I couldn't tell u for sure as I have no hands on experience with either but on paper it seems doable with both (will have to take out both the drive caddies on the 08 though, or go with a top mount like in the pic if the rad+fan isn't too thick to interfere with mobo/psu)!

You pic looks like a Lian Li PC-Q08. I am more interested in the PC-Q11 model. This is getting interesting.

that is a Q08, was just saying that with the 08 you will either have to take both drive caddies out to fit it in front or make sure the fan+rad thickness on the H60 don't interfere with the PSU if you mount it on top.

As far as the Q11 goes, you should be fine as long as ur psu isn't too long (check picture with the thicker H70):

I'll be using the H60 which has a slimmer radiator. Question is how did you mount the 120mm H70 fan to the 140mm PC-Q11 mounting plate?

thats not my pic, just a google image search! but it doesnt look like ist actually mounted...rather looks like there is a fan sitting inside the aluminium bracket with probable a hole cut out and the rest of the assembly is probably just leaning on the psu...doing this without any modding could also be possible with special hexagon head screws u could get in behind the aluminium bracket and screw in with a wrench (or any other kind of screw/tool combination that would let u tighten in from the small gap behind that bracket).

Something like these screws and a small wrench would do the job imo (don't just take my word for it tho as I haven't tried it personally but on paper it makes sense to me):

but if you can live without the awesome lian-li brushed aluminium finish and other bells and whistles, the Silverstone SG05 would make ur life alot easier trying to fit an H60 (if you can live with the 450W psu which I suspect you can unless u have like a GTX590)...

I also found this fan adapter which is actually very thin & would not add much in the way of thickness to the install. What do you think??

Can be significantly more pricey but it will be considered.

The build has been completed..............for the most part. Here are the list of components and picture links.

Silverstone SG05B-450 (450W uATX Power Supply)
Gigabyte H55N-USB3
Intel S1156 I5-760 CPU
8GB (2x4GB) G.Skill DDR3
Gigabyte GTX550 Ti Video Card
Seagate Momemtus XT 500GB Hybrid Drive
Corsair H60 Water Cooler
2x Arctic Cooling F12 120mm Fans

The system has become my main daily pc running Arch Linux with the Gnome 3 (3.2.1) Desktop. It is very stable and fairly quiet. I absolutely love this build.

It is a little messy cable wise but I have tried to make sure that the airflow behind the rad is as clear as possible. It, the cpu, runs surprisingly cool usually at just 5-7 degrees above ambiant during regular use. The rad orientation, due to the video card, blocks the use of an internal optical drive but is of little consequence since an external is used on those occasions where one is needed.
