I've been looking at coolermaster CM 690 II Advanced and HAF 922,

Is there anything better?

or you could look at the 912. unless youre packing a few gtx 590's and dual socket mobo you should have some coin left in thine pocket
and still decent airflow :)

NZXT Tempest EVO is an airflow monster as well.

Good Choice given your budget.

If you don't mind the looks, get the Silverstone Raven RV03. Same cooling performance as the FT02 and RV02 which are widely regarded as pretty much the best air cooling cases. The RV03 has slightly worse HDD cooling performance compared to its predecessors if you put your hard drives behind the motherboard tray but it costs significantly less and is also smaller.

2nded also if u can find a good deal once in a while the rv02 does go for about 130$ which would be better but not always available

I really like the design of the coolermaster and lancool cases. The only issue I see with Coolermaster cases are the lack of stock fans (which are not even great by any means to start with) RV02 is a good case, but it does have it's flaws (which I stated in another thread). Xigmatek Utgard is another good case for the money, but doesn't have front facing hard drive bays (which is a pet peeve of mine)
