Yep, the before and after pics really show what can be done with a little bit of work.

Great job!!!

Thanks Guys, I'm really happy with it. This was my first cable project. It will be worth it when I'm working in the case from now on. My next thing is to put in a backside VGA Heatsink.

Low351, your post made me finally get up and do some cable management of my own. I had ordered a new heatsink for my CPU and figured i should do some work while i had everything out of the case. One thing the before and after pics that stood out for me was "crap, forgot to dust the bottom of the case!". At least I was able to do that afterwards.

Before:

After:

Hmmm... better, but i wished I could have turned my hard drives around to tidy up the SATA and power cables but it's just not possible with my current setup (case). I would say it's time for a new one but I'm pretty sure the wife would kick me and my computer out on my ass if i spent another penny on the computer this month.

Below_Cost, lol I hear you, I've dumped in about 900$ since christmas if you count the 22" LCD I got. I've prepared her by telling her there will always be something I want, it's neverending.

That's a nice job. I have a similar case for my old system an Antec 1080AMG it's a beast too. It's impossible to turn the drives around without physical modifcation.

Nice Heat Sink, I like that one a lot, I would have got it but I got the Scythe Ninja for 29.99 so I jumped on it instead.

Nice and clean Silverchair. I went into my Elite 330 case the other night to measure the overhead clearance on my OCZ vanquisher HS and I was aware of how nice it is to work in a clean uncluttered case.

I'm going to make sure I do the job well when I setup my CM690 (still waiting...). I have a feeling it will make putting in a watercooling solution extremely easy, when I have the change to do it.

Looks great. I also have an OCZ 850W GameXstream and was wondering how I can fix my mess. Looks like you have the right idea. DOnt think I can insert my drives backwards though because I have 120mm fans in my Antec 900 that would most likely come in contact with the cables. Hmmm, I will try it though.

Well here is my cable clean up. Sure wish I had taken before shots because the diff is staggering. Using the OCZ 850W GameXstream sure has a lot of cables to tuck away.

You may notice the themometer sticky I put on the left front of the case to get my ambient room temp. Piced up some extras at the Wine Brew Store when I was getting supplies. Works quite well.

Worst part is after all the work getting it squared off... It will all becoming apart this week for my new build with the E8400 and Giga Board. LOL

More fun to come.

CasheKicker, Wow. I had heard the the 900 was a difficult case for cable management. I think it's probably a good one for a modular cable PSU. It's odd that they didn't give you more options since it was designed with a window.

You've done a good job of getting the cables out of the airflow path though and your Mobo is clear. To bad you don't have the before shot, it must have been a jungle.
