Default mATX Case Suggestions

Hello,

I would like to get suggestions for an mATX case!

I have a Lian-Li PC-V354B ordered from NCIX, but the order they made at the end of November is still not in. I don't mind waiting a bit, but if I find a good mATX I'll change my order!

I sent an email to Fractal for an ETA on their new mATX case but no reply so far.

Any suggestions guys?

came across the thermal take amor yesterday, looks decent http://www.bestdirect.ca/products/23...Z/THERMALTAKE/

thermaltake lan box also seems like a decent cheaper alternative
Buy THERMALTAKE [VF6000BNS] Thermaltake Lanbox Lite mATX Black Modular Case 2X5.25 1X3.5 2X3.5INT No PS

maybe check out the silverstones matx htpc cases as well if a case like that interests you

No offense on the new Thermaltake, but I doubt someone that originally wanted a high quality brushed aluminum case would be in the market for a full plastic/steel gamer case.

On another note the FT03 from Silverstone finally launched, but it looks like NCIX only ordered 4 black and 2 silver... I'm still having a hard time stomaching the price, been waiting months for this launch. They originally delayed the launch to find ways to make the case more affordable. Well they made it cheaper in terms of material quality, (cheaper fans and steel body/aluminum shell) but that didn't really do much for the price...

Yeah, I already feel like spending to much on the lian-ci.. 170$ for a case that looks like a trash can haha ouch!

EDIT : The Antec P180 mini doesn't look too bad too

Personally i love the case i am using for a hybrid htpc-server i have going on right now - Silverstone Grandia GD05B - NCIX.com - Buy Silverstone Grandia GD05B Black HTPC mATX Desktop Case 1X5.25 2X3.5INT 1X2.5INT 3X120MM Fan No PS - GD05B In Canada.

I am able to run a coolit cpu WC unit, two of the three case fans (120mm i might add), as well as 3 storage hard drives (2 in 3.5" bays, 1 in 5.25" bay with included adapter), and then my OS hard drive (2.5"). It seems to have quite a bit of space and air flow (nothing comes close to overheating), can fit an mATX board along with a standard psu and best of all i find the metal and finish to be rather good quality.

very nice looking htpc cases at SS. If they simply made a atx case like that that supported 120mm fans i would probably already own one.

Would I be able to fit a full length GPU?

According to Silverstone, the case can fit full-sized graphics up to 11" long and CPU coolers 70 mm tall (120 mm tall without an optical drive).

My vote would to stick w/ the PC-V354 if you can wait it out. I like my PC-V352 as well but it definitely isn't as well laid out as the PC-V354.
