NZXT Phantom

So, I'm thinking of picking up one of these in red to replace my old TT Shark. It should go well with my Red CF Ed. PC P&C Quad 750 and the multitude of those Red and Black Yate Loon fans I've picked up at NCIX when they've had them on sale. My concern is the oddball 200mm top fan. I doesn't appear as though there's a provision for putting smaller 120mm fans there, so I was thinking of getting a bracket machined to allow 2 or 3 120's to be mounted up top, or somehow either by painting or using vinyl dye cover over the white blades. I know painting can throw off the blade balance and I've never tried doing the vinyl dye thing before. Any thoughts?

I don't forsee a problem doing the dye, as it should just absorb a small amount , so long as it does it evenly. Never tried that myself to be honest.

WTH, seems NCIX already de-listed the red version...

Out of stock probably with no orders for the future..I suppose red wasnt a hot colour hence they had it on a fire sale for $68 after MIR on boxing day.

I'll fire off an email to the local guys later in the month. They managed to get me a Silver TT Shark when everybody only stocked black, save me a ton in shipping too.

Pity I had no cash for the Boxing Day sale, but it tis the oil burning season.

We can probably get it. Let me follow up tomorrow. I'm off today.

That would be great Linus.

These cases would take A LOT of prep work to paint them with a spray can nicely.
