Its a radial Fin which works well, and pure copper with a mirror finished base.

Check out the great review! For anyone who can get their hands on one of these things, it is a GREAT cooler! No complain about the size and performance. I think zalman did a great job. Instead of just increase teh size and weight of their cooler, they actually put some design into this thing. i hope hardwarecanuck will review this unit becuase hwc is still my favorite non-biased review site.
