SLI in antec P182

I'm looking to build a system, and the graphics will likely be 8800GTS 512s in SLI. I really like the looks of the P182, but I've heard that SLI is almost impossible to fit because of the way the cables are run and the position of the upper hard drive cage. Would dual slot cards work in SLI in this case? Would I have to remove the upper hard drive cage?

Any comments, advice or other suggestions are welcome.

Remove the upper drive cage and you'll be fine.

I don't know how long the 8800GTS 512MB cards are but if they are the same or shorter than the 8800GT you would be able to keep the upper hard drive cage WITH the 120mm fans in it.

I have two bfg 8800gts 512 cards in my 182, lots of room, dont even have to remove the upper hdd cage if you dont want to, only with the gtx and ultra cards.

Yeah, just realized that it is only 23cm long, not 27 like the other 8800 series cards. so keeping the HDs is good...

the real issue i heard is that the cables coming up from the PSU have to go through a really ugly bend to get past the lower video card in SLI. This isn't a problem for you, since you have the GT, which is only 1 slot wide. I am worried that the double wide GTSs would make that impossible. do you think it could be done in your p180?
