My System Specs

Default Home server / HTPC case

I'm looking for a case to put my home server in.

I'm not storing a lot so I don't need to much space, yet I want some room for few more drives. This is what I have in mind for now:
Coolermaster Elite 310 --> 36.85$ pm'ed

I'll order tuesday or earlier cause of the free shipping promo.

What i'dd like
-6 drive bays (CM Elite 310 have 7 with the 1 ext drive bay)
-4 5,25 bays (1 blu ray drive + 4 hard drives)
-3,25 bays facing the side panel. ( would prefer tooless but at this price...)

I'dd sure like a fractal design XL (or not XL), but it's way more than I'm willing to spend on a case..

Do you have some idea about other cases I should consider?

The 310 is a good case but for an HTPC I prefer a snazzier looking unit.

My choice for dual Home Server/HTPC duty. It holds 6 hard drives but you will be "Limited" the the MiniItx format for motherboards which IMHO isn't much of a limitation these days.

This doesn't satisfy your needs so a great alternative would be the Antec 300.

Or even this Inwin:

Thanks for the suggestion!

That Silverstone is looking way cleaner than the CM. It fits my budget, same price as the 310 price matched.. 1 less drive bays, but it looks less fancy and no side windows.. quite nice. Think I'll go with this one.

An antec 300 could do it, but I'dd need to find it used at ~30-35.. It's made of good quality but lacks fonctionnality.
