My System Specs

Default 800D

Just received the Corsair 800D from NCIX. I installed all my gear in the case, and I have to tell you this is one of the best computer purchases I have ever made. What a hell of a case. I moved from an Antec 900 to this, and the two don't even compare. Drop the coin, buy this case. It is well worth the money and lives up to all the hype you read on the forums. It is awesome...

Going from a 900 to almost anything is a major upgrade. 800Ds are wicked, I would love to own one myself (well, the 700D). Congrats on the case, welcome to forums.

I know it sounds geeky (even in a computer forum LOL) but one of the most impressive things about that case for me is the tooless side panels. The mechanisms are just so much beefier than any other case I've seen/had.

I can't get over how much room is in the case. Online they say the case is massive, its quite long, its not the tallest of the cases I've ever owned. I have a full tower case in the basement standard ATX that is taller, but the Antec 900 was evidently struggling with all the drives I had in there and the cable structure was a mess. Thats all fixed now - I have to say its quite the piece of work. It takes a lot to impress me now, and this is a gem in this industry.

I haven't used a 800D myself but I felt the same way about the HAF X.
