i thought that since the 922 is so old that it wouldnt fit such a monster GPU. ok so the 690|| can? coz its either that or the 922 coz i have the 932 and the haf X which r BOTH AWESOME. haf X fits the gigabyte ud-9 and the other 1 i will fit a core i5 or something in there.

so which 1 u guys think will be nicer 690|| or the 922?

922 for sure. 690 can fit big GPU but the interior of the 922 is better to work IMO. But note that the case is long Really looking like a full tower for the lenght.

Can't you buy almost completely plastic cases for exactly this use? Also, why not a plastic mini-tower? You'd shave lots of weight.

Doesn't Antec have a mini-tower called the Lanboy or something?

I'd go with PC-P50W-B which is basically an aluminum PC-K62, thus making it almost 4kgs lighter. It costs 2x the PC-K62 though. I like my CM 690 II as well but I just don't think the paint job will hold up to incessant tinkering. With the Lili/Lancool, you get no such impression (build is excellent) and you can work to your hearts content without worrying about chipping paint and whatnot.

Yeah look is a big thing in the game of choosing a case. To me it's the harder part to chose:P But sometime you have to ditch the look and go for quality. A plastic case is not quality:). Keep your search and give us some news
