Lian Li, no question. Their build quality is second to none. Coolermaster makes good cases, I've had a few, but there's just no comparison once you get your hands on it.

Flip a 3 sided coin.

But if you can't find on of those I guess my choice would most likely be the CM 690 II. That is as long as everything you wanted to put in there will fit. I do know that the Lian Li will be better build quality but is it really worth 1.5 times as much? $100 for CM 690 and $160-200 for the Lian Li. I don't have much experience with the Lian Li so I can't say if it is worth it.

The HAF X will give you the best cooling. The Lian-Li has the best build quality and in my opinion looks the best. Which one you should get depends on whether you want better cooling or better build quality and aesthetics. I would personally go with the Lian-Li.

so if you dont mind high price of haf then you want lian for high quality build...

for myself... i prefer feature or better airflow... then maybe i prefer haf... i think lian is good for watercooling...

and i think you couldnt put very large size video card into lian... if you like lian but want to have more features than cm or haf then i suggest LIAN LI Lancool PC-K62 for 100 cdn...

<< is not expert... just opinion... ;p

edit: ok... everyone beats me... da*n slowpoke...

it depends. if you have cash to spare, either of the 'better' ones, although the hafx is a tad overpriced. same with the lian lil.

now, if your upgrade must take in account the extra 80 or 100 bucks you shell on a case? then its a different thing all together

I really like the Lian Li. It looks so professional. I am not really a fan of the look of the HAF X but i really like the cable management.

Like all things, it depends on the application and your priorities. For example, do you need exceptional cooling? Is fit and finish very important to you? Is your disposable income high or is this going on a credit card? And so on.

When I build a system, I'm always cognizant of price/performance ratios and value; there are premium/luxury temptations every step of the way that can easily lead to buyers remorse.

Of the three, the Coolermaster CM 690 II Adv seems to offer the best combination of functionality, features and value.

Air Cooling or Water Cooling?
Multi GP's?
Budget?

These are the questions you ask yourself.....and choose accordingly
