Default Corsair Obsidian 700D Review Comment Thread

With Corsair's 800D being such a great success, it was only natural that a follow-up product was quickly approaching. The aptly-named 700D isn't much of a departure from the original but it does come with a lower price while eliminating some features which were deemed unnecessary by Corsair. In this video review we see if the 700D is perfect for those of you who don't need some of the more exotic items which come with this case's bigger brother.

Well PinkT as usual great review.. err.. I meant FixT :p.

And a very valid question at the end, for $30 more might as well get the 800D. Plenty of room for a triple rad with fans, wow Corsair has done very good homework, no black stars like in school :D

Nice video review, the entire time I was waiting for something like the Price is Right models to appear.

I have to admit if I were to chose between the 800 and 700, I would probably go for the 700. I don't care for case windows, and have no use for hot swapping, so 30$ less isn't great but it's not bad. Although both cases are way outside my price range so I guess I will not have to worry about such a dilemma.

tell you the truth, i like it more than the 800. no stupid door in front, and no lame window...very nice!

I agree with Dang. I never liked the idea of having a door in the front and the window not only looked weird but I never liked having windows on my cases. Hopefully NCIX will have em in stock.
