Goddamn, I just bought this case for a customer's build, and it puts my Cosmos to shame !!! I love the sleek black look and the overall configuration. Very well designed IMO !

If I wasn't right in the middle of my cosmos mod (check gallery for it soon) I'd buy one in a flash

I just bought the case for 90$ at microbytes. All I can say is that its a great case but I had to do a bit of modifications on the back for the ATX connector to pass.I'll have pics later. It's a great case and anyway I had to mod stuff on every case ive had for better wiremanagement

Just purchased this case. I will overclock my Q6600..

Which fans did you buy for this case?
Did you replace the stock ones too?
Is the 80 mm fan useful?

Thanks :D

I replaced them with the Antec TRICOOL 120mm with three speed fan settings.
I tried to put a 80mm on the back , but the case would not close, so I ordered a slim 80mm fan to see if that will work.
to be honest I do not know if that will help or not. It might.

Thanks for the answer!

I may fill all the available fan slot (7 right?), but is it a bit overkill?

I'll put a Ultra-120 Extreme with a NF-P12

But for the case fans, I was thinking about Scythe S-Flex 1600 RPM fan..but, there are some cheaper Yate loons fans that seemed to be good for the price. I'm just wondering if the S-Flex worth paying quite more than Yate Loon fans

Moreover, how is the difference in Temperature with non-stock fans?

Whenever I get the chance this is the case I use for my mid-tower builds. As for fans with the 7 Scythe E's in it, it is barely audible...heck my WD Se16 makes more noise (during seek) and my Raptor make a LOT more noise then those fans. The Yate Loons are good but I find them to be a bit louder or at least the sound they make is more noticeable to me.

A couple weeks ago I built a Q6600 (w/ stock cooler)+ Asus commando with this case and when the room was 15 degrees the CPU showed 21C. I enabled SpeedStep and the foooker idled at 2 above ambient...with the STOCK cooler. Needless to say, when I went to order my Xmas goodies I picked up 2 CM690's, 2 Scythe Fs, 2 Ultima 90's, and 14 Scythe E's...personally I don't think you can ever have to many quiet fans. And the 7th fan does make for a very nice NEGATIVE air pressure...always liked more fans sucking air out then pushin' in ( I can live with more dust...I just clean the cases more often).
