Sounds like a lot of cases are still using a 775 template for them and it will be awhile before we see cases work towards the 1156/1366 style.
they might be in the same spot but not the same size, the 1366 heatsink mount i have with my true doesn't line up in the 1156 holes.

I think I might avoid the CM 690 II base on what's being posted now.

it still looks like an awesome case, i'm wouldn't let the cut-out placement decide weather i buy it or not, how many times do you plan on changing your heatsink?

No point in avoiding the case for said issues. Every mainboard is different, its not always going to be the right placement no matter which case you buy.. Unless the entire tray in the back is hollowed out minus the standoffs.

yeah, Get the case. You wont be dissapointed. Its all i could have ever asked for in a case (minus the capability to hover)
