Wow great review FixT.. I thoroughly enjoy seeing your reviews.. Cooler Master took an already damn good case and made is gooder er.. better.. The idea of removing the hard drive cage (4 hdds) I actually haven't seen a lot of manufacturers do that..

The vertical expansion slot I'm guessing is more for extra USB connectors, or something similar to that, let's just say something that doesn't require the pcb to attach to the mobo, and just needs a wire plugged in.. The External hot swappable SSD is a very cool option, man it holds really a lot of fans too..

All in all, a very very good and solidly built case and an excellent view Fix.. CM is really dominating the pc chassis industry..

Great case and a really good job on the review. Features that stand out to me are the removable hdd cage (was wishing this when I put the pump in my HAF), and the hot-swap bay at the top.

Under $100...I'll probably recommend this to folks building a gaming rig for sure.

and some explain the concept of a hotswappable HDD there. I fail to see how useful that could be.

For people who fix PCs or swap out drives very often, it can be very useful if you need to get some data off of a drive quickly.

Great budget case for my next mid level build. Going to wait until stock is availible at other e-tailers might be able to save a few dollars on a price match.

Its so true though! The case really is just a housing for a whole crapload of fans.... not that that is a bad thing!


If I get a chance I would actually like to revisit the case in the future and see the actual temperature benefits and noise pollution generated by filling up fan spots.

I got the Raven 01 from here the top 120mm is squeeks on start up and shut down. Got to drill out the rivit and replace with a screw. Better yet realace the fan.

The 690 II would be fun to tweek and play to get best temp and noise levels
