can u post a few pics of the h50 installed plz? Did installing it on the rear 120mm fan plate go smoothly as I see there is a special mounting system..

I used the fan from Corsair i might install it again with the fan from Lian-Li and see if its any different temperature wise.

The fan + rad was annoying to mount but it screws in fine, you just have to remove the rubber grommets that the Lian-Li fans are mounted on. Than used the provided screws from Corsair and the washers provided by Corsair.

I recommend asking somebody to hold the fan + rad while you put the screws in because it was pretty tricky to do myself and if i had had somebody else around to just hold the fan and rad in place for 5 seconds it would have been a lot easier.

Otherwise the installation is simple, just make sure the back plate for the heat sink fits in the opening on the case because with my mother board the back plate actually ended up going under the mother board and between the case a little bit because of the 4 holes for the bracket.

Sorry to be a pain I was going to use the same cooler with this case. Can you post a pic of the back. Is it just an issue of installing the back plate before putting the mobo in or is there a clearance issue??

Its an issue of installing the heatsink with access to the 4 motherboard holes without removing the motherboard because the hole for that is off by about half an inch. I was very happy at the prospect of not having to remove my motherboard to install my coolers, but was deeply saddened when i discovered that my motherboard holes were off and ended up having to pull the motherboard out. I might just go at the hole with a dremel and make it a bit bigger.

Dude those temps are hard to believe with no fan. Is it -5 in your house?
