Case Decision Hi all, I need to make a decision that I cant seem to be able to make. Soon I am going to pick up a case for my currently open air build. I am sorta stuck between either the CM Storm Sniper or the CM HAF 932. Many say they are pretty close to each other in terms of cooling, but I seem more weighed towards the sniper as I looks better :bleh:. In the beginning i was soooo close to pulling the trigger on the HAF but i didnt and recently I read up some reviews on the sniper and it seemed pretty cool. The ATCS 840 price is jsut out of the picture unfortunately so its just those two:sad:. Thanks. s288:thumb: |
Both were a toss-up for me as well. I went with the HAF and have been very happy. I can't remember why i chose the HAF to be honest...I think the cooling was a tab better, with some more space, but no big difference from what I recall. |
Here is my post from back in March on these two: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...tml#post161515 |
They are two very well built computer cases, i worked in both. I suggest you get the HAF932 if you plan to not move it around alot or not plan to attend many LANs. Other then that i think you should go what works best for whatever reason you have. |
I vote for the HAF. Absolutely love the thing, however it is a behemoth, so if you don't like a case that could withstand a nuclear holocaust, it's not for you  |
HAF it is! After all it is cheaper:P |
neither broken poll :P |

did you watercool it?(or plan to do it later) if yes take the 932, if not, the 922 and the sniper are bolt nice, the sniper come with filter on side pannel and bothom if you dont like dust, the sniper also come build in a fan controler, other than that, the sniper and 922 are the same except look, |
The HAF may be a well designed case, but it's externally ugly as sin... and everybody has one. Personally, being 'generic HAF owner #276,345' would bother me a lot. |
