Default Cutting on acrylic

Was that supposed to be easy?

Ok, I'm going to switch tasks a little to not get bored.
I bought a Zalman fan controller with RoHS (or rOhS?) and it has an adapter to inform how much power the power supply is providing to the system.

I hate the idea of having more wires outside of the case and an additional "false USB port" to have this adapter communicating to the zalman panel.

This is the adapter I'm referring to:

And this is the false USB port, adapter and power supply:

The plan is to open the adapter and the power supply and check if it's possible to embed the adapter inside of the power supply with no big modifications.

Default A little bit more of acrylic

After some sandpaper job:

I spent at least 2 hours polishing the edges of each acrylic piece

And I have the power of folding acrylic! Thanks to the thermic blower (500ºC)... That was actually easy. I got surprised!

Default Some progress

I was thinking that I don't like the feet like I drew it.

So, I couldn't stop thinking on how to give it a better design.

An idea came up:

A mitre or Skil saw or even a table saw works amazingly well on acrylic, I would imagine the dremel would have problems.

Thought I recognized Inventor drawings. Nice work. There. Looking forward to seeing how this works out.

I didn't try mitre or table saws so I can't surely tell, but the only tool I found hard to use was the special stylet, said appropriate to cut on acrylic.
I understand the acrylic I'm using is 5mm thick and maybe it's too thick to use it to cut.

I have a fixed dremel support what trasforms it in a kind of tipper. This gives me the precision to work angled, and curved or straight cuts and finishment.

I used a hacksaw and I can cut roughly 1cm/second or more, it's really easy. Do you mean a diamond file bit like this? (not the plunge style just normal with a round-ish end)
