My System Specs

Default Mountain Mods H2GO

Hey Guys,

Just wondering why everyone's selling their H2GO's??

Because of that, it got me interested... I currently have a Twice7 that I grudgingly love. It's a sweet little case, but can only handle a single PA120.2 before it gets really cramped.

I'm thinking of getting an H2GO to fit the following:

mATX motherboard
2 x PA120.2's with 2x25mm thick fans each INTERNALLY
1 x PA160 w/shroud INTERNALLY

All the literature says it WILL fit a PA160 but I have not yet seen it in use with this case. Additionally, I'm not sure how much space there is between the side panel and the bottom of the motherboard. Anyone willing to take some measurements? :)

Yes sir... tell me what you want measured, I don't quite get where you want to place the 160. I love my H2GO, and if you want one, I'd recommend buying Infinit's... buying a new one is kinda pricey.

I was going to do the same thing: run 2 x 120.2s internally w/ a Rampage Gene, but there isn't the proper mounting holes for an mATX board on the MB tray. Not a big deal, you can easily make your own, but still. You might also be able to run both internally with a standard ATX, but it'll depend on the board.

I have the 120.2 mounted "normally", and a 120.1 on each side of the bottom compartment :)

My System Specs

Default

ROFL

That's exactly the setup I want to do... R2G, GTX285. FuZion v1 + MCW30 + EK Full Cover, on 2xPA120.2+PA160

Measurements that I'd like:
-Height of the bottom compartment
-Distance of fan holes from the floor in the bottom compartment
-Distance of the side to the bottom of the mobo (or alternately how many PCI slots a PA120.2+25mm fans would block off)

Thanks!

Hmm.. no mATX holes isn't a deal breaker, but.. yarg.. haha. I'd have to find a tap for the holes I'd be drilling.

- the bottom compartment is ~ 159mm tall
- the hole begins at ~ 15mm from the bottom of the case
- you'd block the bottom 3 slots (the last one would only be partially blocked), so you can easily fit a mATX with the rad internally.

Let me know if you need anything else... and good luck finding those 120.2s, they are mad rare these days.

Cheers.

I'm working on my build right now... I'll post some pics for you later today -- you're going to have problems/issues mounting all of the rads in the bottom compartment.

So don't run out and buy the rads yet :)

Yes, I completely agree.

Liu Kang seems to have this handled though, so I'll leave it to him to convince you to buy my.. er, an H2GO.

K, so I installed the rads and motherboard... clearance with the 120.1s in the bottom compartment is limitted, particularly in the front of the case (where the 5.25 bays are).

Sorry about the shitty pics/pshop, wife has the camera and I'm stuck on my laptop. Both pics below are the front 120.1, located in the bottom compartment beside the 5.25 bays. The part I circled in red actually blocks the 5.25 bays. It's only a few mms, so I'm sure you can mod your ROM to fit if you like.

I'll be running an external ROM, so IDGAF.

More random, shitty pics... hopefully this gives you a bit of inspiration :)

I'm waiting on the GTX295 block, it's in the mail. Otherwise, I have to mount the pump and SDD and it's ready to come alive.

Let me know if you need anymore pics, Zoob... GOOD LUCK!

Very nice. One more question. Looks like I'll need to put my PA160 on the bottom rear 120mm fan exhaust.
How much space is available on the sides of the fan? I'll need about 6cm.

Also where'd you buy those BP G3/8 to G1/4 adapters?? I will be needing a bunch :)

Infiniti, your post says that it's compatible with mATX, does that mean your mobo tray has the mounting holes predrilled?

Thanks !! :)
