Default Powder Coating my haf932

So i saw an ad on kijiji for someone who does powdercoating and replied to him asking what he would charge to do my case.

" .hmmessage P { margin:0px; padding:0px } body.hmmessage { font-size: 10pt; font-family:Verdana } It would be about $40 inthose colours and I haveblack stardust in stock black withevery colour of the rainbow mixed in as the surrounding light changes so does you cover really cool affect if you interrested"

Think it would be a proper job at that price? Ive heard people say they paid around $125 to get theirs done, but im assuming an actual business would charge more to cover employee wages etc.

I paid $50 to do the interior of my Cosmos S. But I disassembled the whole thing, and filled the holes for them.

$40 sounds like a paint job and not a powdercoat...

In SugarJ's case, they made him do all the work and probably just added his parts to an existing order/setup... hence the cheap price.

They didn't ask me to do the work, I drilled all the rivets out so each piece would have full coverage. I put screws in all the holes I wanted to keep the threads clean. And yes, it was semi-gloss black, so just added into a standard run that they were already doing. But because I showed up with a box full of parts instead of a 24"x24" cage, it was easier for them to deal with. But it is worth shopping around. If you keep to black, most places do it every week. If you want a color, they might have to set up just to do your color, thus the price increase.

And judging by his/her poor grammar, I have a hard time believing he's a professional by any means.

Also maybe he isn't aware of how large the HAF932 is? Not sure if you gave him dimensions and a picture.

We had filing cabinets quoted from some company in Barrie. For 6 large cabinets would be around 400...so that is a good price. I would just look at a credible company first and see what they are offering.

$40 for that is actually reasonable. Plenty of professional shops charge that for a case.
