$1000 case anyone?

I was browsing the new arrivals at NCIX and found this Thermaltake Expressar case with built in refrigeration cooling. Looks interesting except that the only 1366 mobos that it will accept are MSI and gigabyte and if you have a video card that is 10 inches long, it can't go in the top two PCIE slots- so you pretty much need to select your components around the cases limitations which isn't what I look for in my 1000 dollar cases , and I tend to go for a little less of the ugly.

They also have LN2 pot for CPU and GPU now expt very expensive and not sure what they'r emade of- better be good copper for that price.

its only drawing 50W and its claiming -20 drop in temp, I wonder how many W heat output it can deal with.

I agree, you shouldn't be so limited with $1000 sunk into the damn thing. I'd much rather have a heavier case than a limiting one.

by the way, it's highly unlikely you could get to 6GHz stable. Temperature isn't the only thing that limits how high you can overclock.

Makes me wonder what the refridgerant is in that thing.
Propane or Butane maybe..I doubt it would be R12 or R134a.

I'll wait for TT's 4 Bay unit due out sometime or another based off this system. At least then I can do what I want with my case.

But Compressing the right gas for this type of phase change is second only to L2N or Helium/Argon Pots.
