Default window mod on a case...

i tried making a window mod on an old case the other day to see if i could do it, and i pretty much butchered the panel... the hole is there but the lines are so uneven. I want to do a window mod on my new case but I dont want to risk destroying it...

Bill Owen from mnpctech.com does window mods for $39.99, is there any other place where you can get window mods done for less?

another thing is make a guide using MDF/particle board/any thick material if you're using a jigsaw/router, there's a guide over on XS for doing window mods

not really have done quite a few myself easy and cheaper to do your self if you all ready have the tools. look in the local supershopper for some crap cases . and i personal like bolting mine window to the side panel looooksss soo cool. pratic on some crap cases that's what i did and only took me two cases to get it right so it really is very easy take your time.

I have done 2 window mods now both turned out just fine. As others have said rig up a guide for the straight cuts, go slow dont try and push the jigsaw to hard, that will cause a wobbly cut. Always mask off where you are cutting. Use a quality SHARP jigsaw blade.

Done for less than $39.99? Dude, that's some pretty cheap labour right there... you don't want to know what my company charges an hour ;)
