I think the CM one would be the better cooled of the Two. That Antec doesn't look like it breathes well at all.
Side Fans are almost a Must for any decent video cards nowa-days if you don't want them cooking in their spots.

Get a CM590 or perhaps a NZXT Alpha / Beta .

My thoughts,

Excellent choices but they don't come with a power supply I believe. And I think that's what he's looking for.

AHhh, well To be honest, I've never been a Fan of getting a Case with Included PSU. Normally because they really skimp out on the PSU.

Thats just me though.

Antec cases especially the S3 and the Solos actually have decent PSUs but if you want to upgrade to major components they won't last.

Yeah , I know Antec PSU's aren't too too bad. But for the Gear I run, I prefer my own brand of PSU.
For a barebone system though, I am sure they would work fine without worry.

I don't mind having to buy a separate PSU, but its just I really like the Antec Sonata Plus 550 looks. It wouldn't bother me to get another case. I also like the Antec Solo for its looks or the P180 series... Other than that, I like some Lian-li cases, but they are a bit overpriced for me.

I am actually at clear reasons as to why the Sonata Plus is not such a good choice. I know the PSU suits my needs without any problems.

I would have prefered if it had more fans included, but then again I must say I am not a fan of Antec fans since I believe they can't be mobo controlled, so I would plan to change them anyway.

The only way a Fan can't be Mobo Controlled is if its Straight Molex Connection.
IF you are really set on getting an Antec , then yeah the P180 series probably have better airflow than most.
To me, looks matter, but not with the comprimise of Airflow.
Take a Look at the NZXT Beta, Canadacomputers has it for, $80 or something.
Would probably suit your needs fairly well.

My thoughts at least,

Eww that beta is ugly.

Give me a 690 any day over that.

Like a previous HWCanucker said it would be better if the case uses 120mm fans. Quieter and better cooling. But if you don't plan on any major upgrades then what you picked would fine.

Hi Kilauea, my current rig in sig below is in a Sanata Plus 550 which I've had for about one year and a half. I'll try and list the pros and cons I've found with it so far.

Pros:
1) Good power supply and modular
2) Aluminum front panel insert
3) Good paint job
4) Well made (can easily sit my 200 pounds + won't say how much on it with no worry's )
5) Thumb screws on right side panel that are attached so they donít fall out
6) Silicone mounts for hard drives (cuts vibrations)
7) Dust filter
8) Area to hide wires behind hard drive cage
9) Silicone feet
10) Quiet
11) Case is wide enough IMO to fit most tower coolers
12) Temps inside case are really good, not to mention that I have it in my wall unit with the door closed (back of wall unit is cut out so hot air can escape)

Cons:
1) Included Antec tri cool fan is no good for quiet computing, cannot be controlled from motherboard only 4 pin. I replaced mine with a 120mm Arctic PWM fan.
2) Dust filter cannot be removed without first taking right side panel off to get to latches for front panel (no clue what they were thinking)
3) Heavy, but I donít think youíll be using it for Lan parties (this could be a pro if you think of it from a well made point of view)
4) Will not fit really long video cards, will hit hard drive cage. (if you want the measurement from the PCI bracket to the hard drive cage I can get it for you.)
5) Hard drive suspension mechanism does not work that good and youíll lose one bay if you use it just go with the hard mount with the silicone mounts as itís just as good.
6) Reset button gives problems, gets stuck sometimes might just be my case.

Overall I really like the case, the only thing that bugs me is not been able to remove the dust filter without first removing side panel, this is not bad if it is on your desk or even the floor but mine is in my wall unit so I have to pull it out.
As for the front fans I used 2 Scythe Kama 92mm PWM fans controlled by motherboard which stay fairly quiet but you could get even quieter fans.

So after writing the novelette above I hope you have enough info about the case.
