Default Painting a radiator

Hey guys,
My radiator is all scratched up (Thermochill PA 120.2). I'm thinking about painting it. My local body shop wants $100... but i'm thinking about doing it myself.
This is the plan:
Sanding>Primer>Black Paint>Red accents>Clear coat

Everything is spraypaint.

Now my question is.. what type of paint should i buy? I don't know what type of paint i will be able to use clear coat over.

Any help would be appreciated!

P.S. I'll be posting my worklog shortly

You didn't actually say so - I hope you're covering the fins on the radiator. Any paint on them will ruin performance in no time at all.

I'm not sure that easy task, but I like to see worklog. I think this tread belongs watercooling section

I posted here because it seems more of a case mod than an actual watercooling topic.
More people paint cases here, and the concept is the same. I just need to know what type of paint to buy.

At Canadian Tire they have big selection. I painted my HAF with black outdoor furniture paint.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, I talked to Supergrover and I now forget what he said with respects to his paint job. I think Krylon or one of the metal paints should be fine, and they come in a wide variety of colours, my biggest fear is the sanding.

I used TREMCLAD, no sanding just prime + paint.

Give it a light sand, then prime it then paint. I just painted my PA120.2 a day ago with some matte black metal paint I picked up from Home Depot

Yeah don't paint the fins
