Default Software for Case Design.

Just wondering what you guys all use and where to get it. I have a few interesting ideas in my head for an "Air coolers dream" case. I'm not too eager to shell out $$$$ for CAD. Any other ideas?

You can try Google SketchUp: Google SketchUp

Never tried it, since I rely on Cad2009 and Catia V5.

Same recommendation here, I never tried it before, but it seems to be what everyone uses. I hear its easy to use, and theres a lot of pre-made models to use for sizing purposes, oh and its free to boot!

I've been playing around with it but there doesnt seem to be an easy coordinate/measurement system to always check my dimensions. Its a fast n easy tool for get my ideas out, but not for accuracy. Any other suggestions? (even not free ones)

The easiest one would be Autocad 2009.

The most powerful would be Catia V5, and ProEngineer.
