Default GMC R-4 Bulldozer case (ugly or not???)

A certain on-line retailer is listing these as coming in.......

YouTube - GMC to unveil its pc case 'R-4 Bulldozer' featuring vertical

Certainly a niche market, but I can see some folks wanting the look.

For a good guess about what it looks like inside you can have a look at this quick review of another mid-tower case by the company (X-7 "X-Station" )

It looks like they took a cheapass generic case and slapped some serious plastic on it. The internals are poorly laid out in my opinion and this case will need to be priced well under $100 to be worthwhile.

EDIT: My comments are towards the case that is linked, not the bulldozer case in the YouTube video.

I don't like the look of it.

HOWEVER, I think GMC makes some great cases for those of us looking for something different. I just finished building my GF a computer in a GMC R-2 Toast and I think it is a great little case. It fits an ATX mobo but is about the size of most mATX cases.

IMO, there isn't much innovation when it comes to PC cases nowadays but GMC looks to be coming out with some unique designs...minus the Bulldozer.

Yeah, the internals of the second case don't impress me at all. I'd spend half of what they're asking and get a coolermaster. :)

If I ever bought something like that I expect the Staff to find me and hunt me down and kill me.
End of story.

I predict many more vertical optical drive layouts to come.... just wait, hopefully something better will roll along.

THat bull dozer is fugly... though I'm sure someone will like it. A couple of their cases in the video looked pretty slick though.

Not to my taste thats for sure.
However, truth be told its nice to see someone doing things different (drastically?) out there when it comes to case design.

I wouldn't own that though, I don't think.

It's definately targeted towards a particular market. Many folks didn't like the "themed" B-2 Stealth case but my young lad loves it and isn't interested in trading it for anything else.
