Default Antec P182 doesn't have enough room for Corsair HX 1000W PSU?
I'm building my computer now and it doesn't look like the PSU will fit in the case.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?

Nope. The PSU can go any way it wants, especially since it's on the bottom of the case. I personally have the fan facing down.

Nope having the PSU upside will not hurt it.

And you don't need to turn your psu upside down. Its designed to have the fan down.

You also don't need to use the metal C bracket.

That is correct, the HX 1kW right side up will keep the 140mm Fan down, drawing cool air in through the Bottom of the case and expelling out the back, this orientation will also keep your Hardwired cables on the correct side for easier cable management.

Yeah my Antec TPQ 850 barely fits, I had to remove the fan bracket to make enough room for a fan and the PSU, some of the cables sit up against parts of the fan so they don't come in contact with the blades. I still suggest getting some some sort of airflow over or under your HDD(s) they'll get nice and toasty without any.

I've done this LOL. It takes a little extra time fishing a tiny screw out of a power supply :)
