| Rootman, have you got your computer together yet? I am thinking about getting one of those cases but the V2000B instead of the V1000. http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...acture=LIAN-LI I think it is the same as your just that it has a little more space and drive bays. I like the idea of have more room to add hardware and different accessories. I take you like your new case?

The V2000B is exactly like mine, only larger and more optical and hard drive bays. I would have gone with that one, but my desk/workstation has limited space and the V1000 was just the right size. I love my case - it has lots of room despite being mid-size, well placed fans, replaceable air filter, internal layout makes it easier to install parts, it looks sexy and it's black!

| Sweet deal man, what are you going with for componets? I will be picking up a EVGA i680 E6700 and Exreem ram, I think 6400. Just waiting for a friends go ahead on my hardware due to price drops soon ![]() Thats mid size case does not look small. I currently have a TX1050B and I find this case to be big but I think is is dwarfed to the V2000B. Anyhoooo. Be seeing you around. Are you currently gaming? If so what games and names do you go by? I play have been really getting into BF2142. I'm not that good yet (learning curve) but I am getting the hang of it. I go by the name of Corpus_Chaotic or Corpus_Kaotic. Mainly Corpus_Chaotic as Corpus_Kaotic was used for to learn the game then score higher.. Well shit, not that I'm scoring much higher. ![]() Bye for now.

| Hey is there a reset button or is it incorporated into the one on/off button? I have seen buttons were you do a (half) push for the reset. Is that true here?

What do you think of my specs? Right now, i'm not playing any games at the moment because my current computer is EXTREMELY SLOOOWWW. But once I get my upgrade, I will be back into CS:S, Rainbox Six, Oblivion and hopefully Battlefield 2142. I use the handle "bad_sex" for practice, and "r00tman" for serious competitions. There is no reset button, but I think it's a half-push button. I will have to test it out this weekend.

| Well Rootman, I went and did it.. I love it so much, this by far is the nicest case that I have seen. I can't beleive that everything is aluminum on it. Very little plastic, this case is so light but yet super solid. Here's a couple pictures of my new Lian Li V2000II case beside my Antec TX1050B. I thought the TX1050B was big well holy shit it dwarfs in comparison to the V2000. ![]() ![]() Sorry about having to see my toe... He He..

I knew the CNPS9700 was big, but not THAT big!In your situation, I would leave it the way you installed it...just make sure the case fan near it is blowing air IN and not OUT.

| Hey Rootman,I have a question about the power on switch, hard drive light and the power on light cable. First off does your cable have three pairs? and if so are they (H.D.D_LED, white and orange) (POWER LED, white and green) and (POWERSW, white and blue) My question, is the white wire the ground or - ? For example (White - Orange +) (White - Green +) (White - Blue +) The POWER LED connector is a three prong connector with just two wires which you have to relocate one of the wires to make the connection on the PWRLED header on the motherboard. Can you please tell me if this is accurate. Maybe even provide a pic (if available) Thanks a bunch ROotman. Oh BTW, I went water cooling.. This system is going to be scookum. Corpus
