The POWER LED connector is a three prong connector with just two wires which you have to relocate one of the wires to make the connection on the PWRLED header on the motherboard.

Can you please tell me if this is accurate. Maybe even provide a pic (if available)

Yes, my case does have three pairs for H.D.D_LED, PWR_LED, PWR_SW.
One cable is the Negative (-), and the other is Positive (+). There is no ground.

The PWRLED is a 3-prong connector, and my 680i mobo only had 2 pins so I had to "relocate" one wire next to the other so that I could plug in the connector. Let me know if you need help on how to do this.

Sorry I ment (-) as the ground. Can you provide a pic of your connections? Or mention what is what. it; the white wire (-) or (+) as there is three white wires this will clear it up. Also post some pics of your new rig.. Silly man.
