it will work fine. But you need it to be the original size of the size panel to work properly.

If I do it the full size of the original side panel it will have to be 18 3/4" x 16 3/4" and 1/16" thickness It would look like this.

Yup I'd think too.. Put some UV cold cathodes, nearer to the door, with a UV (applique, yeah that's what it's called, those stickers).. So when the cathodes light up, it has a nice showing for the plexi glass, you know I think Performance PCs (USA, sorry) have some UV Plexi glass..

Here is the idea I have. I want to do water cooling and have the fluid be UV.

There's also companies out there that do custom laser etching if that floats your boat. I cut the hole in the panel in about 10 minutes with a dremel. Allows you to keep the cases original side panel for rigidity and strength. ![]() |

Dude... You really got something nice there! Nice work. @ BALISTX... Your idea is good and simple and you can even find threaded inserts at hardware stores that work like rivets and will give you a simple way to screw your acrylic. |

| Vinc3nt_Steele: Customer etching would be really cool but the nice thing with the stickers if I change my parts I can make a new sticker and change them out. Lima: Thanks for the tip. I'll have to look into that.
