Antec 300 big enough for 4870X2?

or should I go with 690? I really like the antec 300 with it's simple design but I'm worried it might not be big enough. Also, how many watts is requirement for an 4870X2? I mean how much is enough to be safe but not too much to be overkill?

I think a HD4870X2 will fit in an Antec 300 but I'm not 100%. As for the power consumption of the HD4870X2, you looking at a card that can pull 400W or more.

the HD4870x2 is really not that big
its in fact smaller than a GTX 280 reference design
it fits in my Antec 900 with still more than an inch left
i dun have a antec 300 case though so im not sure about that

as far as powers go
i remember seeing ATi's presentation about a standard system with just 1 ATi HD4870x2 should have 730W of power

The box of my Sapphire's calls for 650W for a single card and 1kw for dual cards.

I would say a Corsair 620 would run that card and a system no problem.

The card should fit so long as you don't have any hard drives installed in front of the card.
