Yes it is an Aeron. And it is a banana hanger from Bed Bath & Beyond.

What type of midi software you use? Traktor, DEX, etc?

NS7 is designed to use Serato Itch. Redonkulous is an understatement.

I swore I would always use vinyl, until I tried the NS7.

Lowfat,

Is that a yamaha stereo receiver? What monitors are you using?

Ive used serato a few times. Im not great but its quite hard using it on vinyl rather than CD decks/midi decks.

Although, anyone uses vinyl with serato or just vinyl to mix is a very skillfull DJ to me.

Arinoth,
No. It is an Onkyo TX-SR606, which I hope to replace soon. 2 years old and the HDMI board is already going.

The bookshelds are Kef IQ1. As are my rears. And the center channel (sitting below and behind the iMac) is a cheapo Soundstage Center 5 (Kef IQ10c is way too big).

You do know that they can operate on their sides just fine (the tray holds them in), however you are correct. I do not use my dvd-rom drive any more as i tend ot have/make digital copies of things or install using digital copies instead of a dvd-rom (its faster).

I would never use Itch for anything but a Midi deck, dont really see why you would. The NS7 and Itch are a very powerful combination with the loop capabilities. Reason I gave up on vinyl was just getting it physically in my hand without paying a fortune. So nice to buy digital music internationally and just loading a file.

Not fighting to keep beats matched is a huge plus :)

Since I'm here on PAT at CFB Kingston I thought I'd give you guys a good laugh for my amazing setup. Still have to order my Buffalo Linkstation, and my PS3 for gaming, but all in all I'm almost set up for my fun fun wait.
