you would think that major card builders like ( ATi / Nvidia ) would put those damn power plugs near the motherboard to ease on hiding cables and not putting them on the outer side of the card to make them more visible ! :@

wouldn't be room to plug them in then. they just need to put them on the ends of the cards

yeah at the end near the motherboard, would be plenty of room on my GTX 560 its sitting rear card closest to side panel, my 5970 sitting on the side panel completly , if they would stick them on the rear side of card closest to mobo would be alot better

You seriously limit your market putting the power connectors on the end of the card as it makes the card 1-2 inches longer. Anyone with a smaller case simply can't buy the card. I reckon the power connectors themselves need work.

My main system not a powerhouse by all means but it has served me well for the last 2yrs and it does handle all the multi tasking I do. Also sorry if some(if not all) the pics are a little blurry I use a crappy point and shoot which sucks in low light.

Yes that temp is fairly correct(I never really trust these fan controllers) it's reading the temp on my 4890 which at the time was running F@H usually while gaming it never gets above 75C

My awesome cable management behind the mobo tray might have been cleaner if I had a modular psu.



Next is my dedicated folding pc also not a powerhouse but it still manages a good 6700ppd on a stock Pentium D 820 and a GTS 250 sadly it doesn't fold for HWC but I've started my main rig on that . The case, mobo, cpu are all from a HP Media Centre m7160n










And Just for fun the case on my 360 that I did in highschool so it's been through a bit going to friend's houses and lan parties and such.

Yuppers and has a lifetime warranty apparently. Couldn't pass up the deal at NCIX $40 with MIR. The rest of the system is pretty much all hand me downs from family members or freebies from friends except the V8 which came from my main system(which I was surprised fit in the case). Then spent about $15 on paint and masking tape cuz I didn't have any around.

Yea I pretty much had no option other than to open up the side more just because of the heat from the GTS 250 and the lack of airflow if I kept the case stock. The temps were 90C with 82% auto fan when I was testing at stock speeds now it's running 70C OC'd. I actually found that mesh in a field behind my parent's place long time ago when I was a kid brought it home and it sat in the garage since then. The cool thing about it is that the rust pitted the metal giving it a nice texture. I also used the same mesh on the rear exhaust fan in white held on with bent ends.

I did a little clean up in my case. Did some seriously ghetto cable managment (Electrical tape anyone?) It's still not complete as I'm expecting to get this thing Watercooled in the next 2 weeks or so.
