Looks like it's between 12 and 13K at stock speeds. I had them pushed overnight, but something crapped out so I'm going to run them stock for a couple of days to ensure that they're stable, and then push them a bit now that I've got some better cooling going on.

very nice

how is that corsair cooler? They seem to be popular. Would it be noticably better then the Ultra-120?

Yes there is a noticeable decrease in temps between Corsair H50 and Thermalright.

I replaced my TRUE (PUSH/PULL 86CFM fans) for the H50 and my CPU at load temps decreased a lot. IntelBurnTest with my TRUE was 82-81-80-79 vs H50 71-70-69-69. Q6600 @ 3.6 (1.475V).

Just built up a new rig when I switched to Windows 7. This is the first time I've made any effort to hide some of the cables, so my work is definitely not up to the standards of the some the wizards I've seen here. Still, I'm quite happy with the way it turned out. Of course, the back panel..... no one is allowed to see back there. There be tygers back there.

(the 4890 with Accelero is temporary until I can get myself a pair of Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X cards)

Unfortunatly the top panel wires are a little to short for my needs. Going to be extending them and sleeving the rest of the bare wires.
There is zero room to route and wires behind the motherboard tray due to the side panel design and sound insulating material. Where the main bundle of wires run in the main, middle, compartment I might see about getting a piece of alu "j" molded to suit my needs and powdercoat it.. Should hide 90% of the wires then and what would be seen would be sleeved.

Still descent cable management.. I believe as long as there little-no cable clutter showing and only the most obvious connectors visible, that is clean then.. You could sue wire loom (also called split tubing) to gather the cables together, and maybe use some velcro pads/double sided tape to stick to the sides.. it will look descent enough..

Figured I'd post my dusty nonsense. This is all only temporary. The CM690 is borrowed as I'm away from my place until January. I'm saving my pennies for the i5/i7 + new case upgrade after Christmas. I've kind of exhausted the hard drive space on this one. Please excuse the IDE cable, as the dvd drive is borrowed as well and it was old.
