Ok.. I need some opinions.. I am thinking of 2 options for the floor.

1) White translucent material with leds underneath to give a "white" glowing floor
2) Standard sheet metal.

The glowing base would look pretty cool but how would you treat the top to match it? Just leave it a black box for the stark contrast or liven it up somehow?

Leds placed in the top of the case to throw light over the rest.

That Res is pretty darn cool! If you can keep it in there, I would do so.

I'm having second thoughts now.. it seems to be obtrusive and i'm trying to keep it "clean" and minimal.

I'm almost thinkin of ordering a round one from swiftech and mounting it horizontally to the top.
