My System Specs

Default Mael. Classic Stacker 830 rebuld.

This is sort of a rebuild of a system that I started last year but never finished. It is a 2P Z9PE-D8 WS system in a Cooler Master Stacker 830. The plan is for a zero compromise water cooled setup.

The heatsinks have been plasti-dipped as seen in the pics. Although I will have to redo the PCH heatsink as it has a small cuff. I never got around to plast-dipping the backside of the IO ports so I'll have to do that at the same time.

Few random hardware pics.

Decided I wanted to go w/ polished blocks. I polished the first one to the best of my ability.

Then a couple of shots w/ the coolant I will be using. I added a lot more purple this time.

The state of the Stacker(s) right now.

Here is an older 832 interior. I am in the process of removing the gloss black powder coating off the top piece. I need this piece as the one I have from the 830 was modified mistakenly.

Playing around while bored.

Few random pics of the stripping of the powder coat.

And some pics of the two polished blocks.

Actually the name is from the Malazan series of books by Steven Erikson.

Starting to throw the case together. So many pieces. Realized I missed a few for the front section. Will have to take most of it back a part to fix.

I have ordered a cold black oxide kit. First I will attempt to plate some smaller items to see what coverage looks like. Also will be testing how well it holds in a water loop. If I looks good I will be plating the entire case interior w/ it. If it doesn't look well I may attempt doing black chrome instead. That will unfortunately cost about 3-5x as much.
