This unit is 220VAC 3 phase , 20 amps.The evaporator can do -20 C for smaller loads , and it's rated for 17,000 watts so , it'll cool my measly 5kW of pelts easy !!!!!

hoe hoe hoe.

edit : -20 c pelt hotside + 65Degree delta on the pelts is still only -85c ffs !!!

Oh it's much bigger than a refrigerator (spec wise ), about the same physical size as a small fridge , but it's 300+ lbs.The 'radiator' is 2 feet by 3 feet.2x 18" fans.

Here's the compressor specs :

Welcome to TECUMSEH: Reciprocating Compressors

So yea , 17.8 kW dissipation at optimal loading.

This machine is off to my Refrigeration guy this week for the start of complete rebuild.

Haha !! That's just the cooler for the cooler.

Another update :

I failed in my attempt to buy 2"x3" copper bar in short bits.minimum buy=20 feet , about 3k$.

I've gone with aluminum ;

-----

2"x3"x9" aluminum blocks ready for machining , sitting beside the 1"NPT tap for the I/O threads...

2 kW peltier blocks on the way ;

interesting read
so then it would take more lectricity to cool using the peltire then to just use the standard or even water cooling way to cool a CPU. well at least for the standard temperatures but for OCing it probably would pay off
