Got feet on:

Just the one shot, the other one looked fine on the 3" screen but was fuzzy full size.

I've got 6/8 pieces off, 2 more and I can start painting. Maybe tomorrow.

Yes the feet look fantastic but did we really need to see the pic three times?

Whoops, I was having trouble with imageshack embedding it. It only shows up once on my screen. Feel free to edit it if there's multiple copies.

They do indeed, thank you sir! I'm excited to get some white paint on this build. Kinda cold for painting in the shed right now though, -6. I'm probably going to have to fire up my ceramic heater and get the cars out of the garage for 24 hours if this arctic outflow sticks for a couple days.

Well, there's no turning back now.

Not so pretty naked, is it? The feet look great though.

The pile of parts to be wiped down and painted looks surprisingly small.

The heater's been going in the garage for an hour, downstairs I go.

Edit: Gah, white over black. 3-4 coats will be needed for sure. Sigh.

It's cold outside, but my garage was 10 degrees according to my car before I pulled it out. I've got a miner out there that helps keep it warm, then when I throw a ceramic heater and a 500W work light out there it's probably 15-16 degrees.

3 coats on, needs more. The flash shows the thin spots better than natural light.

Weird, I don't see any photos in that post on my end. Stupid Imageshack.

Far from done, I have some wetsanding, more white and then clearcoat to do but it will have to wait for another weekend. So it may as well wait on the case.

Ladies and gentlemen, the first iteration of "The Sugar Cube":

Ya, gloss white shows every defect. Like I said, lots left to do on the paint but I wanted to get an idea of how the white looked before I spent another bunch of hours sanding and painting.

The only piece that looks almost done is the side panel. The steel took the lacquer very well.

The Defects aren't that noticeable in this photograph. I wonder how soon till Corsair sees this and starts offering the case in white. Looking good.
