That would be the 'USAAF'. The 'USAF' was formed in 1947.

Make sure you use the proper insignia too that was on the 'belle, which was the single white Star on a blue background, no stripes - like this one:

(WWII Aircraft buff here, sorry... but keep up the very good work)

The Pin up art was also from B-24 Liberators, not the Fortress lol. Yeah I am there with you too 3.0.

That being said, not detracting from the thread at all as an enthusiast I am extremely excited to see what direction you go in.

The rivets are absolutely "riveting".... ;)

Seriously though, looks great so far and while I'm not that much of a WWII AC buff, I've worked on some that weren't all that far off. :)

That's some sharp looking work. I've always thought a copper +rivet case would look really cool as well. Would be terribly expensive, but cool.

This isn't a direct tribute to the Memphis Belle. The documentary inspired me, but I'm not trying to draw from details or replicate that plane. I apologize if I gave anyone the wrong impression regarding that. I hope you undertand, Thanks again for sharing your feedback

Brad made the wwII Bomber "BOMB" Kills stencils for me on 24" Roland Plotter. The material is Oracle 813 Stencil film

Using 1" tape to mark location for the stencil

The bombs are painted on with PPG "School Bus Yellow" Enamel Paint
