It's an EK fitting painted blue and I don't recommend painting fittings hehe. I knew it might not work that well when I started but I had to try for myself ;-)
The drain fitting off the bottom of the vid to the QDC actually rests on the top of the PSU slightly so it gives the whole thing a bit of support which is a bonus.

I still need to go and find some Lexan for a couple internals but I'll save that for later. ;)

Well damn... I finally put water to it for leak testing and one of the QDC's leak like a sieve. Hoping I can RMA it quickly :)

yup I pulled it out completely and with a closer inspection I noticed the O ring was sitting less than a MM bump on one side. I pulled the ring out cleaned it up a little slammed it back in and no leak for 20+ hours. Should be good to go now.

Welp... I dunno how I did it but the sensitouch power switch that comes with the cosmos S is fried. Guess that's getting modded now too. Not sure what changed between taking it apart to paint it and putting it back together but she be done. :( The magic blue smoke got away before I could put it back. ffs.

Honestly though... I've never really liked that power button.

It's alive! :) Few more things to order to continue with this WIP. I am gonna go ahead and re-wire the fans etc. Far too much wiring behind the back panel that I know can go away. I'll need to visit Mr.Braineater at some point in the next couple weeks to work out some details because I really don't know that much about this side of it.

I'm not in lowfat's league of wiring... I'm not sure many are. ;-)

The missus and I are expecting again and shes been sick for the past week so this guy has been busy doin everything 'round here. ;) Recycling some copper pipe tomorrow we'll see how much I have to spend on wiring after the return. Expecting a couple hundred back at least. :)

The side panel completed as stock. I will be in the near future (when I can get the time) goto the industrial plastics place in town and make a custom side panel and a few custom finishing items on the inside. Mainly block out the hard drive rack which is full of holes etc. When I was mounting the plastic fan holder/filter on the side one of the screws I used musta been a tiny bit too long and made a bump.. it will become a side panel bolt on hole at some point. I will have to make a custom jig to really get the hole spacing correct. Fortunately I can mod this and still use the computer.

note the left side is not painted wrong its the glow of this website! :)

Front bezel. One of the blue slots has a hole in it that used to hold the pump controller... I'm still on the fence about replacing it. I sure didn't get much life out of the last one so I may just forget the pump control completely and paint another one to replace it. The square light you see in the middle is a 10 dollar temp reader that is reading the air flow coming off the top rad. You have to look pretty close to see it but I don't mind as it's just a perk for me when I'm messing around with overclocks etc.

Side view inside with camera flash on.

Side view flash off and blue LED fans on full.

Last pic the UV isn't showing up on the vid card connector. I used to use a sli bridge but saw a couple guys like lowfat just using compression and tube. I really liked the way it looked and in the future some UV lights will be added to pick up the glow better. I bought some UV LED lights online so I'll be makin my own stuff soon. The custom drain port off the bottom of the sli bridge to a QDC that is screwed to the back of the case. Every time I wanna drain this thing it's gonna be simple. My 1st test for draining I had to hook up a g3/8 by G1/4 reducer to the 2bay resi with a compression 90 on it and blow out the tiny bit of excess liquid. This was the best draining I've ever had on a water cooled rig by far and I'm very pleased with the way it worked out.

More as I get to the wiring in a couple weeks and hopefully the side panel window. Unfortunately... spraybombing being what it is I do have some touchups to do when everything is nearly completed. Installing components and bumping around a bit scratched a bit of paint in a couple spots but it should be a pretty simple fix when the time comes. Painting plastic is painful at best and requires several coats. Aluminum is also just as challenging to paint. :)
