Safe Haven The CUBE!!(Dual System Cube of the Gods) SAFE HAVEN The CUBE!!! This build is something super new to me and is being built with a TON of help from awesome forum members who I could not be more grateful for their help or experience. (used the Design 3.0 helped with then added my own style to the frame. The case will now cost and weigh way less then we originally expected do to the frame designer and fabricator "Spotswood" He does kick around the forum so if you ever need anything hit him up:thumb: This build is to meet the goal of running my work, school and folding Server in one case with my gaming rig inside the same tower. There will be lots of custom watercooling and custom cabling and as well. Umm the design is big 3' Cubed but this could change it has to mount a X ATX and ATX motherboard inside going to use the shinobi XL internals to make things easier so I will be cutting up two full sized towers and jamming them into the new case and welding them in place. The case has to incorporate 4 minimum but up to 6 Double thick triple rads and 4 230MM fans one on each side and 2 in the back or front matters PSU placement. The desire with this is to remove my 2 large cases from under my desk and go with one very open large tower to house my server and desktop gaming system. Also want to use all my water cooling gear and custom stuff I have acquired that doesn't fit nice in my other towers. I am also sick of buying a new tower every few months getting bigger and bigger every time I upgrade I wanna build something I can call my own and invest my upgrade money in upgrades not cases haha:doh: |
Sounds like you should be building a desk, not a case. You might not be able to lift it with that much gear in it. |

The only heavy part will be the sub frame, going to tap and die all the walls top and bottom so they can come off easy. |

HAHA no server racks thing has to be purdy :P and I know of these guys buying some gear off one of their guys today, mostly server parts but no racks Those free guys you just posted are a ******* joke, I offered to help them and they basically wanted a month of work for a old computer and they make you contact this one guy who's phone is busy 24/7 and when you finally talk to him he just explains this vague story of how much work for what you will get. |
