Default $4800 Build ???

hey im pretty new to the system building game, but have a neighbour who is a systems builder by trade.

i recently met an extremely well-off Arabic guy who just asked me to have a system built for NO LESS than $5000 AUD, which is just over $4800 CAD ..

he specified that he doesnt want any sort of WCing involved, but either than that, does not care. He simply insists the rig costs at least somewhere near $4800.

i am pretty much at a loss in terms of what to do with all that cash . Any ideas ?

Two 9800 gx2 in SLi ?

any ideas at all would be great. thanks guys..

(sorry about accidental double-post)

Just make sure the check clears before you start spending any money, and that this gentleman doesn't send you a check for $10,000 and ask you to forward $5000 back to him...... :)

Wouldn't be too hard to max out the money trail with solid state drives either. :)

Skulltrail
Q9770
Whatever DDR3 FD ram you got.
Dual 9800GX2
Big-ass PSU, over 1000W
SSD HDs.

Bam. Busted budget. That was easy.

Skulltrail is DDR2 =(.

I'd say that extremely expensive ASUS 790i board (like $500CAD).
8GB of DDR3 $800
Dual GX2s $1200
QX9770 $1700
A huge 1KW PSU of course
An insane RAID card and a bunch of 640GB drives (or the new Raptors)
And some sexy case.

And if thats still not enough money, buy some booze!
