Yes. It is my Infiniband host channel adapter. Pulled off the Heatsink, masked the chip and the PCIe connector and went to down. Works perfectly too.

Actually this is a perfect match. Saving it for the final version of the build.





As for plastidipping a motherboard, as long as you mask off the slots and the hotter running components it shouldn't be a problem. I don't think it will pull off easily from a PCB though if you'd ever want to remove it.

So that's your coolant you're dyeing? Is it straight distilled with a dye? If so, what dye?

The ones on the outside are distilled + Mayhems deep blue and purple. The one is the same but w/ Ice Dragon added to it to give it the opaqueness.
