Been working a bit on wiring on the backside. Also took a few full system pics.

Not sure I will ever get sick of shooting this block.

8 pin so far. This one is quite a bit longer than the previous one. Added another set of retention bars over the non-powder coated pics from way back when. Will finish the cable after the GPU cables are made as I want to find a cleaner way to get the run done versus before.

Nice job @lowfat. Are you going to go with the partial GPU block or wait for the full cover to come out?

I guess the full cover is out now but I am just going to use the Thermosphere. I spent a lot of time last weekend polishing it up. The stainless plate was terribly warped and in rough shape. Took nearly an entire day.

This heatpipe on the stock heatsink is just plain huge.

Started working on acrylic last night. It is sort of complex so hopefully I can pull it off.

Before someone says something the tubing is not warped, the sleeving just was slightly crooked. Wasn't able to fix it before the sun went down.

1. Take pictures in areas with a lot of natural light.
2. Take pictures at different times of day and different types of weather.
3. After you take enough pictures you will soon realize how significantly picture quality depends on light quality. Cloudy weather while having the sun not shining directly in to your room makes for the best light.

The following pics were taken too early in the day. The sun just rising. I was in a rush otherwise I would have waited 30 minutes for optimal picture time.

After a few tries I finished off the GPU to top rad run. Only after had I finished it did I realize the GPU blocks inlet and outlet are backwards. In the past I have always relied on being able to reverse inlet and outlet on GPU blocks. With EK this unfortunately isn't a possibility anymore. The big problem is that there is just no way to fix it. At least not while maintaining straight angle bends. So even though the block will be performing more poorly, I will keep it this way.

A messy plumbed loop would be significantly more haunting to me than a 5C or whatever increase in GPU temps.

But thinking about it just makes me mad at EK. The 1 to 2 degree performance increase the jet plate adds isn't going to do anything. It won't add stability, higher overclocks, or make a system quieter. For acrylic loops I rely on using having many choices on loop layout. Otherwise my loop will have tubing all over the place. I honestly took many hours of thinking just to come up with this loop. I'll likely just have to use blocks from other manufacturers in the future.
