Ever think about using some Silicone to make sure the certain areas that cause it to crash stay dry? Kind of like insulating a motherboard for LN2 runs.

What about a mix? mixing Kerosene, Mineral Sprits, and IPA to some mixture that will not freeze at the temp levels you want to play with, but yet keeps the conductivity to a bare minimum?

A hair-brained idea perhaps but I had to say it

Read my mind , did you ?

I decided after several days of reading and thought, to just f'in giver !!!

Totally ownt./////win win win !!!!!!!!

P5k-SE/e6600/1GB ram......fully submerged in kerosene/mineral spirits.( Kerosene/Mineral spirits are aliphatic hydrocarbons......c7-to c14.........)

---------

I've booted it 7 times....works fine.

-----

I need to find out about silicones resistance to hydrocarbons , but I can get a lower MP mineral spirit that will do dry ice.........(c6-c12 distillate)....

If my seals will take it , that's that.......just gotta deal with the dissoved co2 issue, and it'll totally work.

Unf !

I'm glad to know the board and GPU withstood to such harsh liquids. Study well my young Padawan, and you will succeed.

Thumbs up!

eeek, 403 error on video

but CONGRATS on the win!!! zero motherboard/cpu preparation would be IDEAL. I hope the seals hold up to your new Buckley's Mixture - Cooling Solution ;)
