Narrator: How can he possibly resist the maddening urge to erradicate history at the mere push of a single button? The beautiful, shiny button? The jolly, candy-like button? Will he hold out, folks? Can he hold out?

edit....: I thought you 'Aircraft' guys might like that half hitch....... I saw that for the first time when I took apart a DC-3......I've used it on my wiring for years now......
I have not had to manufacture my own harness since I made one in wiring class on my QL 3 course. I would have to consult the CFTO to get it right but yours looks very nice though. The spacing looks a little tight, but that is just overkill and it isn't a problem.

Thanks !

------------

-That killswitch is only 'cliche' because it's the industry standard for such a switch.

I wanted to get the giant 4" stop button you find at a ski lift , but they are $$.

----

I'm wiring the back half of the harness . With any luck I'll be booting the rig for the first time this weekend.

Fully tested 72" ATX 2.0 Harness :

The back end ain't as pretty as the front , but who cares , it's not visible during operation.

So related to this ,

*It's Alive*

First boot ;

!!

I am in the process of loading winXP up , as well as the utility programs......

Over the next few days , I'll be 'externalizing' the battery , as well as finishing the last bits on the top......Then it's time to remove the heatsinks, clean it/seal it/ ..then it's into the tank !

-----

Let's rock !

Any reason why your throwing winXP on it rather then the new Win 7?

Getting close! Looking very good B.E. Will there be any power issues attached to having a 72" power cable?

Good to know that it booted.

And again, a mighty fine job on that harness - yes, it does remind me of the old birds I used to work on...
