You have some MEK? You know it's illegal in Canada? And may be related to some cancer. Don't breathe it, wear gloves.

1000 ! woot

Yep I knew that...I don't have pure MEK , however I do have some fairly decent 'laquer-thinners' that contain a fair portion.....Not quite the same thing I know , but close enough to try.

ROFL !!

Very good.nearly spat beer there....

S'all good man....Like I say the laquer thinners I have are MEK/xylene/toluene.....If they do nothing , pure MEK won't make a difference.

--- I kinda thought a 'silicone oil ' might work......ever hear of/try this ?

Yea silicone oils...polydimethylsiloxane for example.....

I used a silicone transformer oil replacement in thinktank 1.

Silicone oils are 1 thing that will apparently melt cured 'silicones'....

edit : this might be an experiment to try.I'll see if I can find some......

Heheh...

Like I said , I'd prefer to avoid 'scraping' the glass that cost me $1.15 per square inch....

Imma check out the laquer thinners I have tonight prolly.....

---------

Backsides of bolt holes sealed , screw pockets sealed......

Last silicone work tonight or tomorrow morning......

-----

This sucker will have water in it in 3 days.

edit : great pic to illustrate the 'double glass panes'.......look at the reflection of the connectors.....8 images...

You could also try acetone. I used it for removing resins and hardeners from gelcoat surfaces.
