Ok....here's a mid-day update.

Fabrication of the solvent recovery tank is almost complete.

2" vent inlets cut,drilled and tapped ;

4" outlet roughed in ;

4" nipple attached :

I/O roughed in :

At this point , the last thing I need to do before the "grind and clean" stage , is to attach an outlet at the bottom of the tank for the IPA to come out.After grind-n-clean , it's 15 mins of silicone work , and it's complete !

K......I have finished the last bits of fabrication on the solvent tank .

Here's the tank bottom exposed....



Man what a nightmare of sawing and grinding off rubber.....That stuff is made to stay on hehehe......

Operation 'Clean and sand' started :

Wipe down with Laquer thinner (Methanol , MEK ,Toluene) : Everything comes off.

I figgered that would happen , no biggie , Wildrose will give me a stencil to redo the finished kegs....

Good idea, if you do have a diagram I'll appreciate. The grinding job is really nice.
