Perfect these, and you could work for the Highways Department! They will doubtless make you apprentice for such things as the "elbow out the truck window" busy look, or the "I can't find my shovel" saunter. The most difficult of all is the "five people standing around a hole looking busy" when only one of them is actually holding a shovel. That's the one I could never pass, always had a coffee in my hand, or made eye contact with passing drivers, drove the foreman nutz!

.
Wow ! nice course on Highway Department ethics !

Cant wait for the build ! Good luck

Make sure to let this thing fold for HWC once it is working !

haw haw.... you know the city course on digging I see......

I'm the opposite actually.I try to maintain pace so i get some aerobic benefit from the work......I ( or my boss Darin ) can dig a 6 foot x3foot x3 foot hole in about 4 hours.

--------

I doubt it'll ever fold for HWC , srry .......designed for short benching runs only basically......

Ok....I have an update (I'm a liar twice )....

------

I did the 'cover pass' silicone work on the inside tank seals.. :

Final silicone pass taping done.....

taping removed.....

I'm reasonably happy with it.....I got some 'pulling' of the silicone( when removing tape) on the one side , (you can see it ) but the beads look pretty good.

Next :

Gap fills , and cleaning , then final sealup.

Ohh.... nice fillet seals! Don't worry, I too was never able to apply a proper bead with no silicone strings once the taping is removed...

Yea it's tough eh....

I'm quite happy with the tank.It actually has a minor 'ring' or 'vibration' to it when it gets bumped.....I think that's a good sign....

hehe....pretty much , the ring is short , but it's there.

----------

I ordered my lighting today.

I have three Luxeon emitter LED's on order.......45 lumen , cyan colored.....

Best 'cold ' color I could find.Nice and bright , I'll probably need to put em on a dimmer.

------------

The 'short' list for the next week is to get the tank finished up to 'bonding-the-back-plate'....although we'll see......

Slowly but surely, I see? That's the way to build.

I agree fully.

I like to take time (several days or even weeks) to mull things around in my head as I progress.Work also cuts into 'modding time'...

#1 on my list = the 3/4" NPT threads on the backplate , once they are on , I can start the plumbing.
