Thanks for the comments guys

It was my first real go at manual focus on these photos too, considering how long I've owned my 60D... Definitely took more patience, but I'd say it's worth it in the end.

After about an hour of BF3, GPU only hit 41C and the CPU hit 59C. Pretty good I'd say considering my pump and fan speeds are relatively low. Idle is 27C on the GPU and 34C on the CPU.

I truly hope a 3930k and GTX690 will last me for at least another year. I know I'll want to upgrade before then, but I don't think it'll be necessary.

Manual focus FTW. I never ever shoot w/ AF anymore. Although I cheat and use the LCD to get it in focus. I know that case is massive but if you want great pics try carrying it outside on a cloudy day.

Haha, yeah...thing is, it's in the basement currently so that invovles carrying it up stairs too

And yeah, I used the LCD for focusing too. Far easier to see if it's in focus since I can magnify it 10x.

I do the same. Works great for taking shots of sleeving.
